Good seeing you Derrie and the Ftroopers. Did to Jones Rd Sun. and was surprised at how few riders were out. Got to Mosq. Hill yesterday took drags to about 2 miles from it but had to drop them . Snow was deep and we never made it back to the barn till 6: 30. Hurrell Vly was fine the dam must have broke . We didn’t go down to Mosq. Lk. so I can’t vouch for the ice thickness should be back soon and will take an auger to check the ice thickness. New trail is just waiting for state to put up xing signs for offical opening. Planning on riding Fri. will stop by camp if your there or maybe see you at the Oxbow. IciclealRon
The Wayner and I will get the Evergreen and Sheriff Lk. Trail tomorrow. It’s been flat dragged bot we’ll do it with the mogelmasternow. Hope to see you and the gang this weekendRon
The reason that section of trail is still closed is we’re waiting for the state to move the snowmobile x signs. The new trail goes up Gag,s driveway to Rt. 8 .and then across Rt. 8 to French Rd and picks up the old trail there. Thanks to the Gagliano’s they saved the trail. It will be a lot better ride than the old way. The loggers are back in below Junt. 114 to Rt.8 It was a mess Tues. hope they get done quick. Went to Hurrell Vly and it didn’t look flooded. I didn’t x it though should snowshoe it first. Should be back out this weekend. Iciclealc4 Trail closure
Just received word C4 from is closed from the post office/ town offices down to the flow due to landowner issues. As of now there is no reroute. Going out today and tomorrow to put up closure signs and attempt to find a reroute. Will try and keep you posted.Ron
I’ve been to the Upper Morehouse / Arietta turn around and it was passable last Tues. but that was before the rain and thaw. We cut C4 out in late Sept. and it’s good to the sign in box . There are some reroutes down past Erb rd. New land owners and we need to take it easy through there. Should have signs up. Now the 800lb gorilla. Mosq Hill. Water at Bochen Lk, Hurrell Vly and a lake below the hill and still blowdowns between Hurrell and Mosq. Hill. Everything is on hold now, will keep u posted. Does any know if Hamilton County has a trail coordinator? Merry Christmas to allEvergreen trail & Mosq. Hill. Mosq. Hill groomed Mon. and 8″ + of ice on pond at base of the hill. Stay between the stakes. Evergreen trail done on Tues.
Mosq. Hill C4C trail
Trail is now open . to Ohio but I believe Ohio has closed their trails. more info is on facebook page of Stephine Tichnor Morehouse Town Clerk. Met The General, Randy and the Evergreen crew Sat. they came over from the trailer park . We’re still closed at Junt. 113 ( trail to Evergreen) waiting on word from Arietta to open. Use C4 to Sheriff Lk turnaround and into Arietta. Missed you Fri. nite at Oxbow Ron.Trail S46 closed at jct.113
Evergreen trail is ribboned off at the junct. (sign in box) and is not cut out yet. I believe Arrieta has closed their end on to Evergreen also C4 is cut out to Sheriff Lk. turn around and is passable . Have taken Skandaic and flat drag from county line to Sheriff Lk. Water in places that have never had any problems. Hope to get back out tomorrow with mogelmaster Use caution if you plan on riding this weekendMorehouse has temporally closed the trail (C4) at Jones rd. It’ s cut out from Town Barn to Sheriff Lk turn around. Didn’t look like Arietta has been through as of Jan.7. Evergreen trail is not opened yet . We have had to temporally close the C4C trail from French Rd. to Mosquito Hill and Ohio. We.re working on it and hope to have it open soon

We picked up about 2ft. Tues. Had to go home yesterday, but will be back this A.M. for the rest of the week. Hope to keep the corridor ok and also get to Mosquito Hill. Saw Rob and Darrin maybe we can get to ride with you this weekend if it’s not to busy.Ron

Wayne and I did our trails Tues. & yesterday. Holding up well but extremely hard. We we’re stopping pretty regularly to shovel snow into the track s for lub, and cooling. Lots of spots where sleds burned holes in the sides of the trails Makes it hard on us when they do that. Ohio came through from Buck Pt. to Mosq. Hill on Mon. or tues. and trail looked real good. Waiting out today and hope we don’t get too much rain. We’ll try it tomorrow , weather permitting . Could be aa busy weekend with the pancake breakfast at the rec hall and harryville at the hill Maybe catch up with you this weekend
