ParticipantIts nice to see the ilsnow forum back. Before the Facebook days this is how we decided if we were heading north or not! But i thought it would be interesting to see a;; the sleds everyone has ridden through the years. Fir me its not a long list but has made the last 20 years of my life great. So here’s my list:
1994 Polaris indy 500 EFI
2005 Arctic Cat F6
2005 Arctic Cat F7 Sno Pro
2015 Arctic Cat ZR 6000rr
2022 Ski-Doo MXZ XRS 850I’ve been a cat guy a long time but I’m excited to see how this Ski-Doo treats me when it comes in this fall!

1982 John Deere Sprintfire (340 liquid cooled)
1988 Polaris Indy Sport (340)
1997 Polaris SuperSport (488)current
2007 & 2009 SkiDoo Freestyle Backcountry (550 fan)
2009 SkiDoo (Freestyle) Tundra (267 single)
2×2006 SkiDoo Freestyle 300 (267 single)If the 267 single as 340 a single and 35 instead of 25 HP the tundra and 300s would really be super.
I’m thinking about getting a new Yamaha Transporter Lite /Arctic Cat Blast LT.

ParticipantFreestyle, isn’t the Blast a smaller frame machine? Don’t know how big a guy you are, but I know I would never fit on less than a full size machine. Heck, even the original Rev chassis was a bit tight for me until the XP came out. Based on your list of sleds and past posts I see you like the low Hp boondockers. Have you thought about the 600 Ace in a Tundra or Expedition? If you don’t want 4 stroke what about the 600 EFI? That’s probably more power than you really want, but I’ve heard good things about both engines.
I think my next sled will have the 600 EFI engine; should be all the power I need. I don’t do the high miles to need 4 stroke longevity and I like the light front end of a 2 stroke.

I,m also thinking about maybe trying the transpoter lite. Would like to ride one first though. Probably doesn,t have an electronic throttle though Also wonder about the mileage with a 400 single and 1 carb. I remember the old SRV with a 540 and 1 carb. = gals per mile!January 28, 2023 at 10:13 pm #21160Joerebot
