Pleasant Riders Christmas Tree Burning

The annual burning starts at about 3PM at the Ox Bow Inn on Ox Bow Lake this coming Saturday ( Feb. 15 ) They usually have free tube steaks and burgers for the crowd. A great fire works show usually goes off at 6 PM. Donations for the works are greatly appreciated. The cans are at the bar where they can be watched. A few years ago some scum bag made off with the can when it was out side on the deck
Be there for a great day but park your sleds up wind or near the lake shore, cause I forgot about this and had some scorch marks on ours.
Stayed home this past week end to watch the Super Bowl disaster and missed the fire works show at the Morehouse Recreation Center with all the cakes and cookies that the local ladies bring in.
RonGreat turn out. Probably over a 100 people ( Mostly riders ) The fire works show was the best I ever seen. See the show on facebook, I’m sure. Kids had a great time sledding and sliding on the hill in the OxBow’s yard.
A big thanks to the Pleasant Riders Club for all their work to put it on especially to Mike O. for getting the fire work show and Mike K. and Ron C. for staying out on the deck cooking all the burgers and dogs of death
PS All the trails leading to the OxBow were great. A big thanks also to the town of Arietta for grooming here.
