MONDAY 1-18

After getting up early and reading all over the internet how snowmobile Towns in the Adirondacks had their groomers out yesterday and last night in anticipation of today’s holiday riding, I woke my son up early so we could get some riding in before we head south gain and he returns to college. Yesterday’s trails in IL were bad and there was no sign of the Town groomers. We only made it about half way to the rangers station when we had no choice but to turn back. Was hopeful this morning would prove better with groomers hitting the trails but no such luck. Very frustrating!! I will say that over the last few years the trails have been much better. Perhaps budget concerns with COVID impact this year?? I have been in IL since Thursday night and I have not seen a single sign of a groomer. It’s a holiday weekend?? I know I’m venting but something must be up.
