I talked to Perry from Jerseyfield Lake about C4 from his road to Bull Hill up to Buck Point Camp (junction 17) and on to Mosquito Hill C4C. He said the Region 6 DEC finally (after 26 years) got a new bridge, with his equipment and labor built on this trail C4. He has been grooming it as much as was needed so far and he sez its great. He also sez that C4C to the Hill has been groomed several times and should also be great.
He did say that the Switch Back Trail (C4F) to Salisbury was not good at all. Seems like the beaver are back up on the top fly and got some open spots. The Salisbury Club has it posted as being BAD. You can legally ride Jerseyfield Lake RD to Salisbury but unless it has a fresh snow on it I would not take it as the town sands the hell out of it for about 2 miles down closer to the end at Curtiss Rd. I will keep you posted. I love these trails and been riding them since the early 70’s. Very scenic.
