Sleds lined up to roll out! Other than being on the mild side, Thursday should be nice day for a ride.

Focus on weather picture is sharpening for the weekend. January Thaw will take its bite, but central Adirondacks should survive with somewhat limited damage.

Model-ology is clustered at half-inch or LESS for rain on Friday. The most damaging episode should occur into Friday night with temperature spiking into the 40s and possible strong, gusty wind - before temperature settles to an overnight low near 32*F.

Next weather event for Saturday night looking more likely to be snow and/or wintry mix. That would keep temperature hovering near 32*F. With marginal temperature, there's a chance this can bounce favorably for us. At worst, it's gunky or icy out there by Sunday morning.

Overall, it doesn't appear to wet enough or danger-zone warm long enough to blow us out.
