Trail Report 3/3/14
Did one of my “world famous” drive by reports late this afternoon on my way home from work. Let me say I love what I saw! Perkins Clearing Road, 2 Miles from Hell and Lewey/Indian Lake campsites were groomed and looking sweet from Route 30. Lakes had sufficient fresh snow to ride them. Back up […]
Ride to Newcomb 3/1/14
I’ve been the ultimate binge rider this winter. In one stretch, the XP sat in the garage for 3 weeks in mid January whilst waiting for snow. Then in mid-February I did 500 miles in a week. Feast or famine, but always a fun time when I get out there. Since the SnoCade 2014 Ride […]

Trail Report 2/26/14: I scored almost an inch […]
Trail Report 2/23/14

Exposed open areas hold about 6-12 inches, with essentially 100% snow coverage. Midweek Outlook: As the cold air sets in, the swampy areas will drain and freeze back […]

The deep snow cover has absorbed much of it, although the low-lying swampy areas and lakes are quite slushy. Remnant snow pack is generally 1-2 feet in the woods. Open areas around town hold less snow, but […]
