The beat goes on…

Wilder Performance

Snowpack remains strong for the central Adirondacks with a general 16-24 inch cover. The snow bowls are holding over 2 feet:

I don’t have anything first hand to report since my snowmobile has been out of commission for a couple of weeks. The suspension issues were more grave than I had thought. But I am looking forward to having it back for next week’s riding. Not that I’ll be able to make up for lost prime time – I can shoot to make the most of the back end of winter.

Weekend Outlook

Just RIDE! More winter behind us than ahead of us….

One more thing….

The upcoming Snowarriors Meet and Greet at the Lewey Lake campsite beach has been moved to Saturday, February 27th, scheduled to start at NOON. This will feature an ice carousel:

This carousel won’t build itself.  The Snowarriors are asking for help.  Volunteers (no experience necessary) are needed on Friday, February 26th. starting at NOON.  If you have a chainsaw, please bring it. In addition, on Saturday, help is needed setting up the fire pit (anyone got firewood and a way to transport it out onto the lake?), the hot dog heater, the hot chocolate.

This event will be “Covid aware” event with social distancing and face masks when and where required.  Outdoors is a great place to be, please come and enjoy an event which is low risk, HIGH FUN!!!

For the ilsnow nation,

Darrin
