As the sun sets of Sunday, December 6, 2020 hunting season closes and snowmobiling season opens for Hamilton and northern Herkimer counties.
The opening trail report will be really easy for ya: There is not sufficient snow ANYWHERE in ilsnow land to even think about riding yet:
The missed snowstorm opportunity which hit the mountains of northern New England with 12-18 inches of snow this weekend will haunt us for a while. After winter cold early this week, it will warm up again before the weekend.
We’re in a holding pattern for a while longer. But each day is one more closer to the day we ride again!
