It is imperative that Republican Matthew Simpson gets your vote on Election Day. Matthew Simpson is Town Supervisor of Horicon and President of the Adirondack Association of Towns and Villages.
Simpson’s opponent, Democrat Claudia Braymer is one of the attorneys retained by Protect the Adirondacks in its frivolous “tree-cutting” lawsuit against the State, preventing the completion of new Community Connector multi-use snowmobile trails within the Adirondacks and all other Forest Preserve land. This has grounded new snowmobile trail construction and improvements to a halt until at least April 2021 when the State Supreme Court is expected to make a decision on the State’s appeal.
If you are a snowmobiler living in NYS Assembly District 114, Claudia Braymer absolutely should NOT get your vote! Instead, vote for Matthew Simpson.
Town of Indian Lake Supervisor Brian Wells has been on the front lines in the fight for expansion of snowmobiling within the Adirondacks and he reached out to me – to get the word out. Brian warned me that it would be very bad for NY snowmobiling if Claudia Braymer wins that Assembly seat.
Do what you must to spread the word!
