It’s that time of year again!

Beginning February 13 with with Indian Lake’s 30th Annual Winterfest and moving into a week long SNOCADE, one will find activities that appeal to both outdoor and indoor vacationers.  Highlights include the Winter Wonderland Craft Fair, Cardboard and Duct Tape Sled Races, a winter water rescue, Sky Watch, guided snowshoe and snowmobile trips, a murder mystery dinner theater, and Forever Snocade, a live performance that takes a comical look at winter life in the Adirondacks.

Snowmobiling Events of Snocade:

Indian Lake Snowarriors Poker Run: Saturday, February 14; Registration at Byron Park Building 9AM – 1PM. Card drawing at American Legion 3PM – 5PM.

Guided Snowmobile Tour to Speculator: Tuesday, February 17; Meet 10AM at Town parking lot between Town garage and Little League ball field on Benton Road. Stopping at Acorn Pub and Eatery at Oak Mountain for lunch. Family friendly ride. Sponsored by the Indian Lake Chamber of Commerce We may meet up with riders from the Adirondacks Speculator Regional Chamber of Commerce. Email me at ilsnowcom@gmail.com if interested. Note: Lake riding is required on this trip.

Guided Snowmobile Tour to Newcomb: Thursday, February 19; Meet 9AM at Town parking lot between Town garage and Little League ball field on Benton Road. Stopping at High Peaks Kitchen for lunch. Family friendly ride. Email me at ilsnowcom@gmail.com if interested.

Kitty Cat Races: Saturday, February 21; At Ski Hill. Snowmobile uphill racing event for kids 5 to 12 years old.
