Tuesday’s clipper system gave ilsnow land light snow throughout the day. Then the lake effect snow came in with a kick to it! Indian Lake got 2 inches of snow in short order in the evening, while Inlet got close to 10 inches, based on webcams.
This puts Moose River Plains back in the “GOOD” category, but do keep in mind that the trail base on the last miles approaching Limekiln gate could be pretty thin.
I’ve yet to see any direct snow reports from Speculator, but I would say that Perkins Clearing is probably a good ride now. The village trails need more snow to make them any good.
WEEKEND OUTLOOK:
Tuesday’s snow was a nice touch but the weekend depends on what Thursday’s storm does.
