I finally got this video up. Looks like I might have to open an ilsnow satellite office at the Town Library to use their T1 high speed line for uploading. My past two uploads have failed from home.

There’s a lot of stuff here, including:
An all-time cheezy 1980s “One Hit Wonder”
Awesome cobalt blue sky all weekend
Speculator Area (February 9th)
Perkins Clearing Road – Start to 0:35
Wolf Hill Road – 0:35 to 1:12
Speculator Village Sidewalk Trail – 1:12 to 1:29
S41/Hatchery Brook Trail – 1:29 to 2:16
Indian Lake Area (February 10th)
Lake Adirondack – 2:16 to 2:30
“Little Canada” between Sawmill Road and Lone Birch Motel – 2:30 to 2:53
C8 between Adirondack Mountain Fitness and S87 Junction – 2:30 to End
On the last segment of video, my daughter was clowning around for the camera. The trail wasn’t that rough and I wasn’t going that fast. But it looked really funny so I stuck it in the video. 🙂
Words and even the video can’t do justice in describing the fun I had this weekend: Enjoying the greatest winter pastime on the planet by myself on Saturday then with my kids on Sunday. Just plain AWESOME!
Midweek Snowmobiling Outlook:
The temperature barely cracked 32*F today and the mixed precipitation was light. No real damage around here. Minor snows Monday night into Tuesday in combination with the groomers making their rounds should result in a nice recovery from the weekend traffic.
