That inch or two of snow we got this morning got blown to smithereens by the sun and wind this afternoon. But it was fun to watch!
Indian Lake Village trails have been groomed this week, so I would assume trails are pretty flat. The heavily traveled trails have dirt spots and icy stretches, but are entirely rideable. The shelf along Crow Hill Road was grubby but rideable. I saw several snowmobiles making their way to the Route 30 One Stop from Cedar River Road this evening.
Reports out of Moose River Plains were mainly fast and flat, but thin. S84/Blue Mountain trail was reported to be a surprisingly decent ride this week. Lakes were a patchwork of glare ice and minimal snow cover.
Weekend Snowmobiling Outlook:
All eyes are on Friday’s potential snowstorm. We’ll see what happens. 🙂
