Indian Lake/Speculator got about an inch of snow today. Places further west like Old Forge and Inlet got diddly-poo. No riding yet!
Outlook:
We have an opportunity for snow on Tuesday. Rain changing to snow events are usually pretty tricky to gauge accurately more than a day or two away. If all goes well, we could score enough snow to get a base for future snows to build on.
Whether we’re riding next week will probably depend on yet another rain changing to snow event on Friday. This storm may be dynamic enough to produce a lake-effect snow bonanza over the western Adirondacks, putting Moose River Plains and Inlet/Old Forge into play.
The pressure is on, but that’s the way I like it. Game on!
