Been way too long since I've been up. My son and I have rented 2 vipers from Village Rentals for the day. Join in if you wish. Should be ready to roll around 9:30. :

Looking forward to it !! If anyone can let me know of areas to avoid or significant hazards, that would be appreciated.

I rode pretty much everything in and around Speculator late last week. Plenty of snow and conditions are good. Lakes are all good. There is a pressure ridge on Lake Pleasant that was a problem a few weeks ago but is now just a speed bump that is no issue. Evergreen Lake is a little rough at both ends where there were some open water holes that have frozen up. Follow the tracks and take it easy and you won't have any issues there.
The only trail that I would avoid, unless it has been groomed in the past few days is the new trail from Speculator to Wells that runs along the power lines. The power line section was good and a fun ride, but the woods section from rt 30 in Spec to the power lines was rough. Some of the connector trails like between Sacandaga and Lake Pleasant were getting beat up, but I imagine they will be fixed up by now. Some of the best trails I hit were in the tree farm and Morehouse trails were unbelievable as well.
Conditions are about as good as it gets so your timing is good. Enjoy!
