We can't ride it until it's on the ground. No snow as of yet...lots of dry air to move out first.

Looks like we aren't going to get that much snow now maybe 6" but that might be enough to ride our trails. Some places didn't loose much of there base. We need a storm like we had during deer season we had over 2 foot with that storm but trails were closed. Seems like when you buy a new sled you never have a good snow year.
We can always go to NY city and ride sleds on thruways. The last few years they have been getting all the snow and no place to ride down there.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that enough falls to make the trails great!

Zero snow in from the coastal storm 1/27. I didn't see a single snowmobile go by on the lake (Sacandaga) yesterday.

This storm didn't amount to much maybe a couple inches at the most. But it's starting to come down heavy now so maybe we will get enough to ride trails in Schoharie. I'm still crossing my fingers for at lease 6" but more would be great. Also hope North gets more snow.

I sure hope so, I've been a member for a couple of years now and for one reason or another I have not ridden this trail system, was really hoping to with all the hype around this storm.

looking out my window this morning was like waking up Christmas morning to find no tree or presents, very disappointing. I am holding out some hope though :letitsnow: :letitsnow: :letitsnow:

p&a which club do you belong to? It's to bad the snow didn't stay from deer season we would of had a nice base. I know where your coming from snow up here has been scarce for the past few years, it would be nice to ride out of my backyard again. We have some of the best trails around in Schoharie, with less sleds traveling on them also. Pretty soon I will know the trails up north better then trails home. Even up north needs more snow around Salisbury and Speculator. Lets hope we have a good February.

really was hoping for sharon springs/richfield springs to come to life, but shot down again. i have ridden in schoharie, duanesburg, middleburgh, up and over to partridge run, westerlo, north blenheim through to cherry valley, as far west as bridgewater. can't forget ilion, they have some nice well kept trails. still nothing out there. i have been going to the hill. long drive and bumpy by days end after 170 miles. heard salisbury to alder creek was decent.

Frontier Sno-Riders is one of a few, I have yet to ride them though, each planned time last year something else was going on.
Hopefully soon I'll be riding in Frontier land.

We only got maybe 4" at the most but Duanesburgh might of got more where that club is. Cato would know more he lives there and belongs to that club. Maybe this next storm Friday we will get more snow I hope.

We might get our wish come true to ride Schoharie trails to Richfield Springs. We picked up a couple inches last night and as I'm typing this out it's snowing out pretty good. We only need a few more inches of White Gold and we will be in business.

p&a: I think the Duansburg might be open now since they got more snow cover. I saw a few sleds running there trails last night. How it's snowing out right now trails should be good to go by this weekend I would think. I will know more by later today when I go to work how there trails look.
